The compound is a disinfectant, algicide and bactericide mainly for swimming pools and dyestuffs, and is also used as a bleaching agent in the textile industry. It is widely used in civil sanitation for pools and spas, preventing and curing diseases in animal husbandry and fisheries, fruit and vegetable preservation, wastewater treatment, as an algicide for recycled water in industry and air conditioning, in anti shrink treatment for woolens, for treating seeds and in organic chemical synthesis.

Trichloroisocyanuric acid as used in swimming pools is easier to handle than chlorine gas. It dissolves slowly in water, but as it reacts, cyanuric acid concentration in the pool will build-up.

Storage and transportation：

(1) Product storage: Don’t store near combustible materials. Store in a cool, dry place. Store ina a tightlt closed container. Store under an inert atmosphere.

(2) Transportation of products: the products can be transported by train, car, ship and other means of transportation. During shipment, the products shall be protected from packaging breakage, fire prevention, waterproof and moisture-proof, and shall not be mixed with ammonia, ammonia water, ammonium salt, amide, urea, oxidant, non-ionic surfactant, inflammable, explosive and other dangerous goods.

(3) Fire: cross-linked with different cyanuric acid is not spontaneous combustion non-flammable, when mixed with ammonium, ammonia, ammonium easy combustion and explosion. At the same time the material because of the fire, its decomposition, release harmful gases. So when there is a fire, the fire fighters have to wear a mask, wear overalls to put out the fire, they can use the common extinguishing fire materials such as water, foam fire extinguishing agent.
