In industry, the effective chlorine content of bleaching powder is generally determined by iodine quantification method. Although this method is accurate, it is complicated to operate and difficult to be accepted and used by individuals and pharmacies.

We can simply measure the content of effective chlorine in bleaching powder by blue ink determination method.
