Determination of blue ink:

The principle of blue ink determination method is that the color of blue ink can be oxidized and faded by the effective chlorine in bleaching powder. The content of effective chlorine in bleaching powder is calculated according to the volume of blue ink consumed.

Required Reagent: blue ink (any) Required Instrument: large white bowl, small white bowl, one glue straw (pen straw is also acceptable)

Here are the steps:

1. Weigh out 10g of bleach in a large white bowl and add 200ml of clean water. Stir for 1 minute to dissolve thoroughly and let stand for 5 minutes.

2. Draw 100 drops of the upper bleaching powder through a plastic pipette and drop them into a small white bowl. Wash the rubber head dropper with water and then absorb the blue ink and gradually drop it into the small white bowl.

3. Calculate empirical formulas

Percentage of effective chlorine of bleach = % of blue ink drops consumed.
