The AGAR medium was sterilized with calcium hypochlorite. After 24 hours, the treatment of 50-400ppm was completely sterilized. Considering the strong resistance of mold spores, the treatment solution of 100 and more than 100ppm was used. After the experiment, all of them developed normally after inoculation at an interval of 1-4 days.
It adopts 100-200ppm effective chlorine to sterilize AGAR medium, which has the advantages of no special equipment, energy saving, easy availability of materials, low cost, convenient measurement, simple operation, thorough sterilization and medium nutrients are not destroyed. It can replace autoclaving. In order to ensure the effect of sterilization, the effective chlorine content and effective period should be paid attention to when using bleaching powder.
